Rural Identity is a company committed to improving rural safety throughout New Zealand. The company began, after a group of Tauranga Girls College students identified a need within rural communities for a highly visible and durable substitute to the plastic council rapid response plates or standard numbering plates. The idea gained national recognition after placing 2nd in the New Zealand Young Enterprise Scheme 2005 and has since been continued to form Rural Identity.
